The first phase of polling in the seven-phase Uttar Pradesh Assembly election was completed on Thursday. A voter turnout of 60.17 per cent was registered in this phase. Meanwhile, the Election Commission revised the polling dates for the Manipur Assembly election. Now, the first phase of polling will be held on February 28 instead of February 27 and the second phase on March 5 instead of March 3. In Uttarakhand, PM Modi will address a rally in Almorah on Friday afternoon. The Assembly elections in Manipur, Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh are being held in February and March. "Congress candidate Rizwan had taken permission for a door-to-door campaign but it was seen that a roadshow-like situation had emerged with people atop of the car with him. As per Sector Magistrate`s complaint, a case has been registered," Moradabad SP.
