The Ohio River began cresting on Saturday. By 10 a.m., it was cresting at both the lower and upper gauges. As of 9 a.m., the Ohio River level at McAlpine Upper Gauge was at 28.5 feet. The flood stage at the upper gauge is 23 feet. The river should fall below flood stage by early Monday afternoon and continue to drop to 12.6 feet by Thursday morning.
