no problems today. quiet day. mostly sunny skies. tomorrow from the early morning hours close to the south coast to early afternoon closer to boston and worcester some patchy light snow breaking out. still a question of how far the accumulating snow will get to the north. we re riding the edge of this storm the whole time. it looks like the best chance for accumulating snow in the city of boston would be late tomorrow, tomorrow evening and wrapping up early on sunday morning. how much snow are we expecting? generally 1 to 3 along the coastline. close to the city of boston, maybe an inch or two of snow. higher totals settling off to the south. now, there is a winter storm watch posted along the immediate south coast of new england here, stretching essentially from cape cod back through the islands, down through buzzards bay and along that 95 stretch into connecticut. if there are towns that will exceed 6 inches of snow, i think it would be right along the immediate coast pendi
Massachusetts is seeking as much as 3,600 megawatts of offshore wind capacity in its fourth procurement round, its biggest procurement ever. And through a tri-state partnership with Rhode Island and Connecticut, Massachusetts and its neighbors are planning to coordinate their selections for a combined 6,000 MW of offshore wind energy capacity, leading to the possibility of multi-state projects although the newly submitted bids in the aggregate fall short of reaching that 6,000 MW threshold.

Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island received a series of proposals for the next phase of clean energy development on Wednesday. The latest round of bids comes after Massachusetts and other states in the Northeast went backwards on offshore wind over the last year and a half.
