Shares of Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. (CWCO) are up 9% on Wednesday announced that its indirect subsidiary Kalaeloa Desalco LLC signed a DBOM Agreement with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply to design, build, operate and maintain a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant in Hawaii.
Work has been completed on Phase I of the Umm Al Quwain Water Desalination Plant coming up on a 250,000 sq m area in the northern emirate. The AED2.2 billion ($598 million) Reverse Osmosis project is set to be commercially operational in Q3 2022.
