Fire that killed one person. The flames shooting off the small home on willard avenue in san jose were big. They threatened a neighboring apartment complex. My god. Firefighters arrived and kickly called for a second alarm to keep the flames from spreading. A large explosion rattled the neighbor. We heard a big boom. We came outside and the house in the back was engulfed. Firefighters entered the home. They found a person dead 6 away from the front door. A county Arson Task Force is trying to figure what caused the fire and how the victim died. Family member of the people would live in the front house say a middleabled man if his 40s lived alone in the small home in the back of the property. Him and his cats. He had so many cats. That was his way of life. Feeding the pigeons and cats. Hose dropped off his daughter with his family in the front house go to work and relieved it find out she escaped unharmed. I hug her and said thank god you are okay. I spoke with the medical examiners off
