Where are the students . Reporter lesli, everyone has been told they are cleared to no longer shelter in place until 30 or 45 minutes ago, this place was shut down as was Catholic University. Police have found a suspicious person, and source in the d. C. Police department told me an hour ago they were on campus speaking with the person. We spoke to a resident who lives in the area outside of Catholic University a few moments ago. I was just working out in the gym over here, and i received the report saying there was a lockdown from the situation on campus, and i came back into my building, stayed there until it was safe to bring my dog out. Reporter part of the reason people live in this area and students were so quick to take the threat seriously was because last night the campus was locked down for a similar reason, a report of an armed man walking on campus, who approached a custodial worker and said he had a gun, asking for directions to a specific building.
