On July 15, 2021, the U.S. Department of Justice revealed that it had indicted two California men, Ian Benjamin Rogers and Jarrod Copeland, on charges related to an alleged plot to destroy the Democratic party headquarters in Sacramento with incendiary devices. According to communications between the two men, they were animated by grievance over Donald Trump’s loss of the 2020 election, and planned to conduct their attack after President Biden’s inauguration on January 20, 2021.
The announcement from the U.S. Department of Justice claims that the men hoped that the attack “might start a movement to overthrow the government.”
Copeland was allegedly affiliated with the Three Percenters. Although Rogers has not been identified as a member of a militia group, he had a three percenters bumper sticker on his vehicle and had once attended a barbecue hosted by the Three Percenters. Critics of Georgia’s new voting regulations question the seriousness of “line warming” tactics, but multiple state officials are already under investigation for illegally giving food and drinks to voters.
Gwinnett County Solicitor General Brian Whiteside has said in previous interviews that he does not believe that line warming, the inappropriate distribution of goods outside polling areas, is a serious issue in Georgia.
“There is no rational basis for the law,” he told MSNBC’s Ari Melber on April 6. “When you commit to a criminal law, there has to be a basis that there will be harm to a party or to property.”

Liberia’s premier democratic advancement and think tank institution, the Naymote Partners for Democratic Development is pleased to release its 3-year performance report on nine (9) members of the House of Representatives, from Montserrado, Bong, Nimba, Grand Gedeh and Rivergee Counties covering January 2018- January 2021. A combined total of 77 promises were tracked from 9 (nine) representatives, of which 23 promises were rated completed, 42 promises are ongoing, and 12 promises have not started or not rated due to the lack of available date to assess any action taken. These promises were tracked by the institution during the 2017 general and legislative elections.
