But because of the jobless benefits, a lastminute deal that democrats cut with the white house, joe manchin is not onboard with that yet and thats essentially stalled action in the senate. This lastminute deal reached would extend jobless benefits at 300 a week through september. But it also includes a plan that would ensure that the first 10,200 of jobless income from jobless benefit would not be taxed. The last part, the nontaxable part of the jobless benefits was not part of the original proposal that extends jobless benefits at 400 through august.
