For more than A Thousand years in good times and in bad the Town Of Windsor has taken pride in its enduring bond with the monarchy. Today, under blue skies, the Royal Borough provides the setting for a funeral. A ceremonial funeral as the longest serving consort in the history of the Royal Family is laid to rest. A long and productive lifetime, a history of achievement, a peaceful death at the age of 99. These are all things to celebrate and to mark with gratitude. Todays funeral for his Royal Highness, the Prince Philip, Duke Of Edinburgh, will certainly celebrate a life well lived. But it will also be a time of Grief And Loss for Her Majesty the queen, who for over 70 years, counted on the Strength And Advice of a dutiful Husband And Consort. Its a time of loss, too, for the children, the grandchildren, and the wider family. It was here at Windsor Castle eight days ago that Prince Philip passed away. And it is here in the private chapel that his body has been lying at rest in readine

Im anderson cooper. Right now the queen is inside Windsor Castle as we all await the start of this extraordinary farewell. It has been drastically scaled back because of the pandemic. It has been planned for years but now, because of covid, the situation has changed. It comes at a time, obviously, of strained relations within the Royal Family. Right now, Military Units are gathering ahead of the Funeral Procession that begins in a little while. That is when we will see the coffin carried out of a private part of Windsor Castle where the Queens Residence is and to be placed on a Land Rover which the prince helped design. The procession will be led by the band of the guards and one of the oldest and most iconic military bands. Charles, the prince of wales, will follow on foot with his Sister Princess Ann and behind them will be Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Then the Walk And Procession Harry And William with their cousin positioned between them peter phillips. The queen will not walk
