Photo: Wirral Council Wirral Council’s Leader visited Eastham Library on Friday afternoon to thank the armed forces for all their help in setting up the symptom-free testing centres across the borough this week. Cllr Janette Williamson made sure not to visit empty handed either as she took boxes of sweets for the soldiers to enjoy on their long trip back to barracks in Scotland. Leader of Wirral Council Cllr Janette Williamson said: “I just wanted to thank all of the soldiers from 39 Engineer Regiment in person for all of their hard work and help in setting up the symptom-free testing centres in Wirral this week.
