Experienced multiple times on my account and the accounts of hundreds of dms i have gotten recounting situations, if you want to see a mental health providers outside of the va because you put yourself in my shoes where you go through five and six providers for a multitude of different reasons and you decide you want to find somebody in your community and have a couldn t newt of care that you generally have to go through your primary care provider. and then they will go ahead and go through and push you off to community care. and community care can take up to two weeks for them to contact you. then they will push off the referral to your respective clinic. then you have to wait for that
