Hailing from Indian Creek, Kentucky, Crystal Wilkinson is the author of three works of fiction, a collection of poetry and, now, a culinary memoir, "Praisesong for the Kitchen Ghosts: Stories and Recipes From Five Generations of Black Country Cooks."
