PITTSBURGH – Walmart has removed to federal court and denied the claims of a lawsuit from an 81-year-old woman, which alleged that she and her great-granddaughter were assaulted, threatened with criminal arrest and wrongfully detained while shopping at one of the company’s stores just over one year ago.
PITTSBURGH – A Fayette County minor who alleged that she was seriously injured at her local Wal-Mart store when she slipped on yogurt which had been dropped onto the floor, has settled claims against the retail giant.

PITTSBURGH – Subsequent to dismissal by a federal judge, a Western Pennsylvania man has appealed his case against Walmart, alleging he was wrongfully charged with theft and malicious prosecution, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
PITTSBURGH – The daughter and husband of a deceased Beaver Falls woman have settled claims with Walmart for alleged negligence-related damages connected to severe leg injuries she suffered in its local store prior to her passing.
