now we re kind of in the little bit of a lull but we re not done with the chance for showers or thunderstorms. for the rest of that i. so our the day. so our yellow weather alert will continue. we re at 68 where we dried out a little in washington and still in the 50s in the north where the showers will continue. the on and off light showers this will be the trend for the rest of the day and as we heat up more for the afternoon we ll the risk of a run the risk of a few thunderstorms as well. but overall trend is pretty benign today. 57 for frederick with light showers out there and also a few little showers here along 66. a quick downpour, but you know what? much of the rain has pushed off to the north and east. all right let s go through your futurecast and you see what s going to happen later on this afternoon. temperatures will have a chance to reach low 70s especially for virginia and parts of southern maryland. northern maryland i think you re going to stay a little
