JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Aturan pajak penjualan atas barang mewah atau PPnBM yang berlaku untuk mobil listrik resmi direvisi pemerintah. Regulasi ini secara langsung membuat mobil plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) dan full hybrid mengalami kenaikan tarif.
Kebijakan ini termuat di dalam Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) 74/2021 tentang Perubahan Atas PP 73/2019 tentang Barang Kena Pajak yang Tergolong Mewah Berupa Kendaraan Bermotor yang Dikenai PPnBM.
Aturan ini telah ditandatangani Jokowi pada 2 Juli 2021 dan diundangkan pada tanggal yang sama. Rencananya, regulasi ini akan berlaku pada 16 Oktober 2021.
