All Fayetteville Area System of Transit routes resumed full service Friday.
Contact tracing continues after several employees tested positive for COVID-19 last week. An employee can return to work after a negative test and clearance from the City’s Human Resource Development Office. The safety of employees and passengers is priority.
Lines on buses now mark the no standing zone. This change is to encourage 6 feet of social distance between the driver seat and passengers. Additionally, FAST crews have increased the frequency of cleaning in vehicles and inside FAST facilities. Bus roof hatches may be open to increase airflow when weather permits. All FAST employees, passengers and visitors are required to wear masks in FAST vehicles and at FAST facilities.
