The panel met former CECs Sushil Chandra and OP Rawat this week. The full panel meeting is expected in a week to discuss feedback received so far from experts , political parties and general public . It has also sought the views of the EC.
The Congress on Friday strongly opposed the idea of "one nation, one election", terming it "undemocratic", and demanded that the committee formed by the government to examine the issue of simultaneous elections be dissolved immediately.
