The iron columns and beams of the structures will get external support as the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) begins work on bolstering the old structures in the historical area. Work has begun at Pan Supari Bazaar, Mantaps behind Vijaya Vittala temple and Chandikeshwari temple, while the old iron columns are being welded at Virupaksha temple.
