Top Gainers and Losers Today : The Sensex gained 281.52 points, or 0.39, to settle at 72426.64, while the Nifty gained 81.55 points, or 0.37, to close at 22040.7.
Nifty today ended 82 points higher at fresh peaks to form an Ascending Triangle pattern on the daily chart. Nifty has surpassed the swing high on the hourly chart, signaling an increase in optimism. The momentum indicator RSI is also suggesting a positive shift in momentum.
One can add longs in HDFC Bank in the zone of Rs 1,400-1,425 for upside target of Rs 1,500 and stop-loss would be placed near Rs 1,368 on daily close basis.
