Tomorrow, rain belt will shrink further and will reduce from Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. Konkan may see some rains tomorrow. By October 23, rains will cease, paving way for withdrawal of Monsoon. This will also mark the end of Monsoon rains for these areas.
Showers will be seen right from north to south stretch of Madhya Maharashtra including Dhule, Nashik, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Sholapur, Pune, Ahmednagar, Nandurbar etc. will see rains. Scattered showers can be seen over Marathwada and Vidarbha will see isolated rains only.
This year also, expect the monsoon to withdraw with some delay from Marathwada, South Madhya Maharashtra and South Konkan and Goa. Rain activities will be light to moderate over most parts of Maharashtra except and North Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and North Konkan and Goa.
Southwest monsoon normally withdraws from East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, most parts of Maharashtra and some pockets of West Bengal by 10th Oct.
