deandra corinthios has more milwaukee police officers. that man is now in m-p-d custody. our deandra corinthios has more from district five. suspect armed with a handgun fired at them. this happened near 27th and ruby shortly before 10:30 p-m after the suspect fired the shots, an officer returned fire. no one was hit .no officers were injured the suspect took off running.and after a brief foot chase a 23 year old man from milwaukee was arrested a spokesperson for the police department says the suspect has an arrest record with them. his name has not been released. the case now goes to the milwaukee county district attorney s office. they ll review it and decide on charges. corinthios fox6 news. three families are displaced after an apartment fire in south milwaukee. fire crews were called out to 13th and manis-tique for a kitchen fire. the red cross is assisting ten people. no word on how much damage was done by the fire. two people are recovering after a crash in milwaukee.

news from overnight milwaukee area of 27th and capitol just before 10 last night. it all started when police attempted a traffic stop and the subject s vehicle took off speeding down 27th. as the subjects neared capitol they crashed into another car and a light pole. a passenger in the back seat of the fleeing vehicle believed to be a male in his late teens or early 20 s died on scene. the driver, an 18 year old female and two other male passengers ages 18 and 20 suffered serious injuries but are believed to be non life of the other car suffered non life threatening injuries. the investigation is ongoing. a teacher s car is stolen from her school the culprit? she says it s one of her students. and despite a confession the teacher says her car and the student are still missing. fox six s ashley sears has the story you ll see only on fox6. 38:30 it was surprising to see a keychain tuesday afternoon when 8th grade teacher, kristin bessler was leaving the universal
happening overnight- milwaukee police are investigating a homicide on the city s west side. police say a 31-ye- shot in the area of 41st and lloyd around 7 last night. the man then drove himself to the hospital suffering from multiple gun shot wounds and very serious injuries. the victim died shortly after he was transferred to another hospital. no arrests have been made and the circumstances around the shooting are still being investigated. and milwaukee police search for suspects after another shooting late last night. this one taking place just before 11-30 on the city s south side. police say they responded the area of 14th and harrison where they found a woman who had been shot the hospital with serious injuries. the shooting is still under investigation. preparing for the count. starting today wisconsin s presidential recount is moving forward. the green party wants a hand count and if that doesn t happen, it could end up in court. fox6s bret lemoine has more. this b
