The town has recently purchased 155 acres of undeveloped land between Memorial Drive and Pepper's Ferry Road, that has been vacant for decades, for future development. As one of the largest undeveloped tracts of land within the town limits, the town has had interest in the property for several years, given its location and topography. and inquiries as to its intended use and/or availability were made.
