+ December 15, 2020 THE local government of San Carlos City through the Public Employment Service Office (Peso) successfully held a two-day online job fair last December 12 to 13 at the Negros Occidental Language & Information Technology Center Extension Office (NOLITC EO).
The activity was the first online job fair to be held in the whole Western Visayas where seven local establishments and one overseas agency opened their doors to jobseekers.
Around 900 applicants sent their resumes through email and facebook with hopes to get jobs.
At least 33 jobseekers were hired on the spot (Hots) while a total of 87 applicants were qualified for final interview, 18 for jobs abroad and 69 for local placement.
