Council to Vote on Proposed Chevy Chase Dog Park
Montgomery Parks will pitch a new dog park in Chevy Chase to the Montgomery County Planning Board on May 6.
The dog park is proposed to be a little less than half an acre and located at the center of Norwood Local Park. Amenities will include a fenced area separating large and small dogs, a shade structure, seating and a water source for dogs.
Norwood Local Park, a 17.5 acre lot on Norwood Drive, was selected following a Dog Parks Site Suitability (DPSS) Study, which aims to find the most appropriate locations for dog parks in the area. ....
