The state government has transferred and promoted 12 IPS officers apart from assigning additional charges to several others. The orders will be effective from January 1.
The promoted officers included Political Commissar of the Southern Theatre Command of the People s Liberation Army (PLA) Wang Wenquan, and Commander of the PLA Navy Hu Zhongming, state-run Xinhua news agency reported. Hu was a submarine specialist with extensive experience at sea, having taken part in the Navy s first global mission and numerous exercises.
