CLHS student receives $40,000 college scholarship

CENTER LINE  Center Line High School senior Marcos Flores has always had an entrepreneurial spirit.  
Flores will be able to further explore his passion when he enrolls at Eastern Michigan University this fall on a $40,000 full academic scholarship. The scholarship was made possible through the high school’s partnership with the Detroit Regional chapter of Dollars for Scholars.
Flores learned he received the scholarship during a surprise in-person announcement at school March 26. Several staff members and his mom Primavera Flores were present. Dollars for Scholars Executive Board Member David Provost and CLHS Dollars for Scholars Adviser Audrey Kary attended virtually. ....
