psychiatric issues herself. so this one hurt. i would hurt. in october 2018 michelle carter s appeal went before the massachusetts supreme judicial court. four months later the court upheld her conviction saying the evidence against the defendant proved by her wanton or reckless conduct, she calls the victims death by suicide. nichelle began serving her sentence in 2019 and after just a year behind bars in january of 2020 she was granted early release for credit arm for good behavior. i feel worse for her mother than i do for myself. that s a powerful statement. your son died. yes but i had this on that i did. and i couldn t be more proud of the young man that he was. kind. selfless. compassionate.
