State Security Minister Ayanda Dlodlo said wrongdoers within the State Security Agency would be prosecuted.
Three suspects were recently arrested and appeared in court on charges of forgery, fraud, corruption, and theft.
Dlodlo said the process to appoint a new agency to probe irregularities would be expedited after law firm Bowmans withdrew.
