In his expanded role, the London-based Bebawi will be tasked with overseeing the publisher’s worldwide digital licensing strategies and managing the Sony/ATV digital team. He will also be responsible with developing and maintaining positive relationships with digital service partners worldwide.
During his time at Sony/ATV, Bebawi has led key digital initiatives and led the negotiation of deals with the major digital services. He has additionally focused on streamlining digital royalty processing to improve accuracy and transparency in the evolving streaming landscape.
Bebawi started his publishing career at EMI Music Publishing in Sept. 2005, when he joined as UK head of business affairs after serving as a partner at London-based media and entertainment law firm Harbottle and Lewis.
