City hall renovations to begin, staff relocate Contributed • May 13, 2021 Renovations to Presque Isle City Hall will begin on the first floor on Monday, May 17.  PRESQUE ISLE, Maine Renovations to Presque Isle City Hall will begin on the first floor on Monday, May 17.   Offices will be closed to the public on Thursday, May 13 and Friday, May 14 as staff is relocated prior to construction.  Services normally accessed at the first-floor front counter will be temporarily relocated to the Forum. All direct telephone numbers will remain the same, but front counter staff will temporarily be relocated to The Forum at 84 Mechanic St. Other relocations include the city clerk and General Assistance staff, who will move to the third floor, and tax assessing services, which will move to the city council chambers on the third floor.

Services usually provided on the first floor will be relocated to the Forum on Mechanic Street. The staff will be there temporarily to assist the public. Other notes of interest as city hall is under construction is the City Clerk and General Assistance will move to the third floor - Tax assessing services will also be on the third floor in the City Council Chamber.  If you need to reach the offices by phone, all phone numbers will stay the same and will not be affected.
