Judges in the 22nd Judicial Circuit have been on the brink of hiring their own private bailiffs for months, but some progress was made during a meeting Thursday.
There are 12 trials scheduled during the next two weeks that are assigned to prosecutors who no longer work for St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.
