There has been some vandalism and a number of arrests at Polling Stations, but the final result is not in doubt as mr putin has no credible opponent. It comes as supporters of the late Opposition Leader, Alexei Navalny, have urged people to turn out en masse at midday in each time zone and vote for any candidate other than mr putin or spoil their ballot papers.
