The Gujarat High Court has ruled that sending children to preschool before the age of three is against the law. The court dismissed petitions by parents seeking admission for their children into Class 1, despite not meeting the required age of six. The parents argued that their children should be exempt from the age requirement since they had attended preschool before turning three. However, the court rejected this argument.
