Residents will get AU$1,000 in upfront bill credits, while seniors and concession card members will receive AU$1,372, the Queensland government said in a statement.
The rebate will apply to bills from July and many Queenslanders won't pay anything until 2025. It will be delivered in a lump sum as a credit to carry over to electricity bills.
