Hate groups actually warned you. yes. because as a visible person of color in the media space, i can be a potential target, just like we saw just yesterday, the person who sent bombs to other prominent people of color and visible people in media and in politics was charged for sending bombs to those people. this is a real threat. this is not something that we should put in an intellectual box and have sort of a debate between pundits. this is a real issue. this is life and death. i think that to saerenator books point, you reap what you sow. i m a preacher s kid so i have to throw that in and make sure people understand that if you put out hate rkts you , you re receive only negative things back. in this case it was violence. people of color are the direct targets. this is not a game. this is not just a political conversation or normal debate. this is very serious.

Matter of really just standing strong, i think, for a lot of christians and understanding their rights. freedom of religion and going to vote. they spoke very loudly. in 2016 when they turned out to vote for donald trump, because he promised to support religious freedom to support a lot of causes that are important to people of faith. and so that s how people can make their that s how christians and all people of faith can make their voices heard is to get out and vote in these elections that are critical. ainsley: there s an article in the new yorker it s a long article, i read it about sarah huckabee sanders calling her the preacher s kid, the p.k. saying she is trump s battering ram. it also talks about her faith. this magazine decided to tweet out one particular part of the article talking about her faith that is an affiliate of hill song the
More on our breaking news. evangelist billy graham has died at 99 years of age, felt throughout the christian world, but also in politics. joining us is televangelist joel osteen. thank you for making yourself available. glad to do it. thanks, chris. so what does the loss of billy graham mean to you? it s personal, chris, because i grew up as a preacher s kid in a preacher s home. he was always my hero, growing up and watching him. his life of integrity and honesty and passion for people. we knew this time was coming, but it s still interesting to think the billy graham is not here with us. to me it s the loss of a hero. what does your generation of the faith community owe to him?
Own pay. balanced budget without raising taxes. cut unemployment rate in half. made huge gains in high school graduation rates and found health coverage for over half a million kentuckians, through trust and mutual respect. i listened. and i built partnerships with business leaders and with republicans in our legislature. we put people first and politics second. the america i love allowed a small town preacher s kid to be elected governor, and it taught me to embrace people who are different than me, not vilify them. the america i love has always been about looking forward, not backward, working together to find solutions regardless of party. instead allowing our differences to divide us and hold us back.
