Community members offered their time and effort to honor veterans and their sacrifices at several cemeteries across the Olympic Peninsula on National Wreaths Across America Day — including about 75 men, women and children at Sequim View Cemetery — on Dec. 16.
The wreaths, and the remembrance of sacrifices they seek to honor, are once again spreading across the North Olympic Peninsula and across the nation this coming weekend.
The first time Judy Willman saw “The Boys in the Boat,” she couldn’t help but view it as a documentary. It was, after all, an epic tale of Olympic Games heroes centered in large part around her father, Joe Rantz.
