Fell int the train and the reporter it happened at the downtown petaluma station 10 days ago. Melissa stranges 5yearold daughter slipped and fell between the gap between the train and platform. It was terrifying. Reporter as the doors opened, Officials Say the little girl got off before her mother, and instead of walking this way to safety, she walked along the yellow strip and fell into the gap. Somebody screamed somebody fell under the train, and once i heard her scream, i mean, you know your own children. Reporter a passenger immediate lit hit the emergency brake stopping the train from going forward, then a conductor jumped down onto the tracks. The conductor went under the train and pulled her out and handed her to me. Reporter at that moment what was going through your mind . I think a little peace because i had my daughter.
