As law enforcement officials continue to investigate an officer-involved shooting Sunday morning in Aurora, Mayor Richard Irvin urged people to wait for the results of the investigation before making judgments about the incident.
A man remained in critical condition Monday afternoon after being shot by an Aurora police officer after allegedly charging at the officer armed with knives outside a home in the city Sunday morning.
Aurora police officers arrived on the scene around 1 a.m. Tuesday near South Eola Road and Autumn Grove Circle to find a Toyota sedan upside down and partially submerged in a retention pond, Aurora Police Chief Keith Cross said.
