The Nebraska International Port of the Plains authority board voted to apply for an initial $5 million for building more rail-park track, a locomotive to move railcars and other infrastructure.
Their first monthly Nebraska International Port of the Plains meeting of 2024 will start at 2 p.m. at Trego/Dugan Aviation’s downtown offices at 201 N. Dewey St.
The new Essential Air Service contract also retains SkyWest Airlines minimum 12 weekly flights to and from Denver in place since February 2018, North Platte Airport Authority leaders said.
