number of different records being set, quite a number of them. the dow has set 42 highs over the course of the year. s&p 500, 38 highs this year. that it has49 highs set this far in 2017. 49 record highs. 11 in the third quarter. clearly, the dow has been the upper former here, playing some ketchup. it saw that big surge came down, and then came back again. big stocks not seeing that of a percentage gain, but because of their leadership, we see them helped lift things over all. netflix, amazon, alphabet among the gainers today. the trend i m talking about in terms of small caps versus large caps, the dow has been doing well but small caps have been doing even better. that is another group that surged postelection, came down, and rising once again. we are looking at the lows. the top line is the small cap ratio to the large caps. we have seen small caps takeoff in the last month and a half or so. down here we have value versus growth. , thes not been as dramatic off-line, but
