MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) – While many of us have been worrying about the coronavirus, doctors are noting a rise in other health issues.
Experts at the American Family Children’s Hospital have seen a significant increase in cases of Pediatric Type 2 Diabetes while also seeing more severe cases of Type 1 Diabetes.
Both forms of diabetes occur because of the lack of insulin action.
Symptoms of both can be increased thirst and urination, as well as weight loss, blurred vision, or fatigue.
