It s not just the leaves that change color in October, things are also turning pink. It is breast Cancer Awareness Month. The University of South Carolina study shows that the five year survival rate for African American women diagnosed with breast cancer is about 78%. And for Caucasian women, the survival rate from breast cancer is 89%. Our Jane Rabello addresses the racial disparity in today s community conversation.
