Wednesday, April 28, is Pay It Forward Day, a day dedicated to celebrating kind acts that happen every day of the year, and a 10-year-old boy named Maddox did something special to pay it forward in Hamilton County.    The Fishers Police Department tweeted pictures showing Maddox s generosity. They said Maddox started a non-profit that provides blessing bags full of useful items to people in need.

The organizations donated 4,000 towels for their shower facility. They also presented a $50,000 check. Amy Schwabenlender, Executive Director of the Human Services Campus, says right now many are having trouble finding affordable housing.

Dunkin' to give 1 person at each central Indiana location free coffee for a year on Wednesday

In honor of Pay It Forward Day on Wednesday, April 28, Dunkin is giving 23 people in central Indiana free coffee for a year. Twenty-three people will win a free coffee for a year coupon book, valued at $164.16. The coupon book will include coupons for a free medium hot or iced coffee, four coupons per month for 12 months, as well as two bonus months, for a total of 56 coupons. A sweepstakes representative will randomly select the winner inside each store sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Consider donating today to support our mission. Syracuse University alumna Darleen Santore’s life changed unexpectedly when she was 25 years old. During her time as an occupational therapist at Gaylord Hospital, she had a stroke that left her with a blood clot in her brain. As a result, doctors said that she could die any day. “It was like, if this clot dislodges I could die, and I’m thinking, ‘then I need to go live life even more and I’m not going to live in fear. I want to go and help people,’” she said.
