states, canada and around the world. i m kim brunhuber in cnn newsroom. eight people were killed after someone opened fire in an outlet mall in texas. this comes amid a week end of gun violence across texas. what the mayor is saying in response. ukraine says it s used an american patriot missile to take down a target. announcer: live in atlanta this is cnn newsroom with kim brunhuber. we begin in allen, texas, where at least eight people have been killed in a mass shooting. one witness filmed the horrifying scenes from the rampage which we have to warn you may be hard to watch. [ bleep ]. you see people there running for safety as gunfire rings out in the background. police say an officer responded to the shooting and killed the gunman. here s how the mayor reacted to the tragedy. allen is a proud and safe city which makes today s senseless act of violence even more shocking. however, i want to commend our police and fire departments for their quick response
Issued the ultimatum to evacuate Northern Gaza immediately, wanting that increases your Israeli Military activity against hamas could be imminent. Tens of thousands of palestinians have been seen leaving their homes in gaza city, throughout friday, carrying what they could but most are deciding either not to evacuate or simply do not have the means to do so. Most say they have no safe to go either, and on top of that, hamas told them to stay in their homes. That with so many people suddenly streaming into southern gaza, the only place to actually leave gaza is the Border Crossing into egypt. Egypt says they have not closed it on their side, but the status is unclear due to israeli airstrikes on the gaza side. Israeli military says they carried out a limited rating to gaza on friday, primarily to seek out intelligence they said, on the estimated 150 hostages in gaza.
