Police have locked down all of downtown silver spring. there s a city bus right straight ahead, if you can see it. there s a city bus on the other side of the metro sign. it would appear that that s a bus probably in the middle of its route and stopped and couldn t move because of the immediate police activity. and so that driver we presume is no longer with the bus. we ve also got metro transit police because we re right in the middle of this business i arerare area. a lot of people on very hot day, by the way, about 95 degrees today here in the nation s capital watching this situation very closely and hoping for the best. back to you. as you point out, the entire area which is on lockdown also includes the parks area where is most of these evacuated employees have park. have you seen a flow of vehicles
