Jennifer Cummiskey Gormley has reason to celebrate after winning the top prize of €5,000 as part of the Wicklow and Rathnew Parish Lotto.
The Parish Lotto has been running for just over a year and Jennifer is the first big winner.
Fr Donal Roche was only too delighted to present her with her winnings.
Anyone can join the Parish Lotto for as little as €2 per week.
It takes place with a weekly raffle prize of €50.
The monies raised will go toward maintenance works to both St Patrick s and St Joseph s Churches.
St Patrick s Church needs to treat dampness in the walls and an upgrading of the lighting system.
