UH Track & Field set eight new personal bests while running away with 19 podium placements in Friday's regular-season finale at the Tom Tellez Invitational
The University of Houston Track & Field program closed out its regular outdoor season before the Big 12 Outdoor Championship with a meet record by graduate Sydni Townsend.
Cougar Track and Field showcased their prowess at the Championships of America in the Penn Relays, held from April 25 to the 27. On Thursday, Graduate Student Ethan Marshall exhibited his strength and skill, securing a ninth place finish in the hammer throw competition with an impressive throw of 57.26 meters.
The Houston track and filed team competed in the Annual Mt. SAC relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, California and and the J. Fred Duckett Twilight Meet at Rice University in Houston between April 17-21.
The University of Houston track and field team split into different time zones to compete in the Air Force Last Chance and LSU Twilight meets on Friday.
