There can be no doubting that political unionism and loyalism received one heck of a loud wake-up call after the Provisional IRA’s political wing, Sinn Fein, easily snatched the crown of being the largest party in Northern Ireland’s local government scene.
As a third generation Ulster Unionist, surely the time has come for a radical rethink of where the party which ruled Northern Ireland for half a century at Stormont needs to go.
