An outbreak of COVID-19 on Saipan sent their case numbers soaring Tuesday. The Guam Pacific Daily News reports health officials say there were 98 new cases confirmed, which is 17% of all known infections since the start of the pandemic.
The recent surge of COVID-19 cases on Saipan has mostly involved infections between people living together, according to public health officials in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
