Dundee United: We ve Received No Bids Friday, 11th May 2012 21:09 Dundee United have released a statement insisting that they’ve had no bids for any of their players but conceding that if they received “substantial offers” they would have to be considered. Earlier today, the Blues were linked with central defender Gavin Gunning, while Swansea were claimed to be targeting winger Gary Mackay-Steven and striker Johnny Russell was also said to be receiving interest. While some sources in Scotland continue to report that the SPL club has received enquiries for some or all of those players, the Terrors statement reads: “Dundee United are disappointed to read what we regard as unsubstantiated rumours in today s media relating to our players. We have received no formal offers for any of our players and indeed would not welcome any such offers. ....
